Coach Alderman is in his 17th season as the head
coach for the Tigers. Before coming to
Tigard he was the head baseball coach at Central Catholic High School. While at Central he led the baseball team to
the State Championship game, losing to his alma mater Beaverton. During his time at Tigard he has mentored 6
All State players and 17 1st Team All League players. In 2002 he led the Tigers to their 2nd
State Championship (they also won it in 1993 under Coach Dan Barendse). During that season Coach Alderman was named
the State Coach of the Year. He has also
been the League Coach of the Year 9 times.
Coach Alderman graduated with a degree in Psychology from Lewis and Clark College where he played both basketball and baseball. He is married to Tori Alderman, a counselor here at Tigard High School, and they are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters Taylor and Avery.

Coach Bailey is in his 17th season as a coach for the Tigers. He is also a Beaverton High School graduate where he was a First Team All State selection his senior year. He went on to start for four years at Linfield College where he earned an advanced degree in Mathematics. He is a Math teacher here at THS. Coach Bailey his wife Krista are proud parents of Douglas and Quinton.
Roger Schenk
Coach Schenk begins his 13th season as a coach and lead scout for the Tigers. Coach Schenk is not only the most seasoned coach on staff but also the most well-traveled having been the head coach at Bandon, Nyssa, and Sherwood. He is a University of Oregon graduate and a rabid Duck fan. Coach Schenk is enjoying his retirement after 30 years in education, and dedicates a great deal of his time to the Tigard Basketball Program. He has been instrumental in coordinating the Cody Hardin Memorial Invitational this year, collaborating with the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society of Oregon. In his spare time, you may find Coach Schenk enjoying the Oregon Coast with his partner, Joanne.

Coach Millbrooke has been coaching at THS for 14 years. He is a Western Oregon graduate where he was a receiver on the football team. Coach Millbrooke is an avid gardener in his free time. He is a PE teacher at Fowler Middle School and is the proud father of two girls, Abby and Emily.

This is Coach Harms’ 15th year on the Tiger staff. He is a graduate of Oregon State University and is a proud Beaver believer. Coach Harms is a teacher here at THS in the Science department and is known widely for frying up some of the best calamari around. He and his wife Susan are proud (and busy) parents of Isaiah, Mercedes, Michael, and Isabella.

This is Coach Hadden's 5th year on staff. He and his wife Stephanie are very excited and busy as they have four year old twin boys, Sean and Caden. Coach Hadden is also an avid Duck fan as he also received his degree from the University of Oregon. He spent several years teaching and coaching at McKay High School in Salem before coming on board to teach in the Math department at THS. He now resides as the Math Department Co-Chair.
James Duty
Coach Duty is back at THS entering his sixth year with the program. Coach Duty is a Tigard High School graduate and was an All League player for Coach Alderman. He then went on to play at the Junior College level for two seasons. James and Alicia are the proud parents of their son Julien and daughter Aria.
